How Get the Jersey works
We index 47 specialist dealers and compare their listings by size, condition and item price — 40,060 shirts in stock across 556 clubs. We sell nothing ourselves. You buy from the dealer.
How the comparison works
Data, pricing and how we earn →Find the shirt
Search by club, season and kit, or start from a club page. Each entry is a shirt model, drawn as our own catalogue illustration — not a single item for sale and not a photo taken from a shop.
Compare listings
Every listing is an actual shirt at a dealer: size, condition as graded by the dealer, item price in the dealer’s currency. Filter by size, condition and price, or set an alert for what is missing.
Buy from the dealer
You buy on the dealer’s site, where the photos, shipping and any additional charges are shown. We have no cart and no checkout, and we never take your payment details.
Data, pricing and how we earn
Dealer data updated 3 h agoWhat we compare
Vintage and retro shirts as listed by specialist dealers. Each listing is one actual shirt with the size, the condition grade and the item price the dealer publishes. We compare item prices within one currency and never convert € and £ into each other.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell shirts, hold stock or run a checkout. We don’t calculate shipping, taxes or duties; the dealer shows them. We don’t inspect items: “original” and the condition grade are the dealer’s statements, not a verification by us.
Where the data comes from
We read the public product pages of the dealers we index, at most one request a second per dealer, with an identified user agent and robots.txt respected. We store the facts — title, price, size, availability, link — and never the dealer’s photos or description texts. Club, season, kit and size are derived automatically and can be wrong; the dealer’s listing is authoritative.
Clubs and shirts
The archive is organised by club, then by season and kit: home, away, third and goalkeeper shirts are separate entries. A shirt stays in the archive when no dealer lists it, so you can watch for it. Where a club’s current league is not confirmed, the club is listed under its country only.
Alerts
A club watch covers all of a club’s shirts, or only the kits, seasons and sizes you choose, including shirts added later. A shirt alert covers one model. Both can wait for new listings or for a price at or below your limit, in one currency. You confirm once and can unsubscribe from every e-mail. E-mail delivery is not switched on yet, so alerts are saved and confirmations go out as soon as it is.
How we earn
If a dealer pays a commission for a purchase that started here, that is our income. It never changes the price you pay and never changes the order of listings: sorting is by item price, and the lowest matching price is always shown first. Which dealers pay is on their dealer page and in the affiliate disclosure.
The drawings
Every shirt is shown as our own catalogue illustration of the design, not a photo of the item for sale. Checked drawings reproduce the cut, collar and pattern of the model; where a drawing has not been checked yet, a colourway sketch on the shared cut stands in and says so. Crests, sponsors, maker marks, names and numbers are never drawn.
Dealers
Being indexed is not a partnership or an endorsement, and no dealer can pay for a better position. Any dealer can have its listings removed on the For dealers page — a request from an address on the dealer’s own domain takes effect immediately.
