What your browser stores

• Session cookie “ts_session”: a random id of 32 characters, set the first time you open any page — this one included — and kept for one year. It holds no name, no e-mail address and no IP address. We need it so that your yes/no answer on a shirt stays yours and can be changed, so that redirects to shops and page views can be counted in our own usage statistics, and so that one browser cannot submit the forms an unlimited number of times per day.
• “Recent” searches (“ts_recent” in your browser’s local storage): up to five of your own searches, each with the label shown and the address of the result page. The list is written and read by the page in your browser, it is only used for the “Recent” line on the start page, and it is never transmitted to us. It stays until you remove it; clearing the site data for this site in your browser is enough.
• Filter panel on the phone (“ts_facets” in session storage): remembers only whether the filters are open; it disappears when you close the tab.
• Dashboard login (“ts_admin”): a signed cookie for the operator only, 30 days.

What the server stores

• Usage statistics: for every search, model page, offer page and redirect the time, the session id, the path, the filters used including the words you typed into the search box, the number of results and the response time.
• Redirects to shops: time, offer, shop, session id and the page you came from (the referrer your browser sends).
• Yes/no answers on offers: offer, session id, answer.
• Problem reports: the reason, your message and, if you enter one, your e-mail address.
• Shop removal requests: the domain, e-mail address and reason entered in the form.
• Price alerts: your e-mail address and the search criteria, confirmed by a double opt-in, until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: Render Services, Inc., 525 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; Serverstandort Frankfurt am Main. Zugriffsprotokolle des Hosters werden dort automatisch gelöscht, wir werten sie nicht aus.

What we do not do

No advertising network, no analytics service, no external fonts, scripts or trackers: this page loads nothing from a third-party domain and uses the fonts installed on your device. We neither pass on nor sell the data listed above. Links to shops carry no identifier of yours; the shop only learns that you came from Get the Jersey.

How to delete it

Delete the cookies and the local storage for this site in your browser: the session id and the “Recent” list are then gone, and your next visit starts a new, unconnected id. If the server-side entries for your session id should go as well, send us the id — you can read it from the “ts_session” cookie in your browser — at tomboettger@googlemail.com.
